This is an odd note issued in 2020 honoring Dr Tawhida Ben Cheikh (b.1909-2010). She was a physician and specialised in women's medicine and this note was issued to acknowledge her lifetime contribution to women's medicine especially in contraception and abortion access.
This note is printed on coated paper, to protect it and extend its life. Its
size remains unchanged with respect to the 2013 banknote, 149mm x 73 mm. This note is printed with the date of 20.03.2020.

Front - Dr Tawhida Ben Cheikh (b.1909-2010). She lived up to a good old age of 101. She was the first woman to become a Medical Doctor in Tunisia. This note is printed with a “RAPID” 4.5 mm wide segmented security band with a dynamic tridimensional effect (three-dimension appearance).
