Posted below are two notes both printed with the year date of 2018. These two notes were reported in 2018, and were released on 17.02.2019. These two notes are the new series of banknotes with new designs. Since it was released, reprints have been issued with a new signature on it.

Five Hundred Dinars
Front - The satellite called AlcomSat1 hovering above the globe, with the map of Algeria.The AlcomSat 1 satellite is Algeria's first communication's satellite. The wide holographic band is printed with the image of Prince Abdul Qadir;
Back - Satellite dishes, map of Algeria and a bridge.
This note is printed with the date of 01.11.2018.
Dimensions - 151mm x 71mm
Front - Djamaa el Djazair or the Great Mosque of Algeria in Algiers. The mosque is overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Construction for the mosque started in 2012 and like most big projects, it was delayed due to budgetary issues and was only completed on 29.04.2019. The cost for the construction was about US$1.0 billion. This mosque houses the world's tallest minaret and is also the third largest mosque in the world, after the Great Mosque of Mecca and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi of Medina both in Saudi Arabia. From the picture of the note, only one minaret was built, instead of the usual four.Whilst this banknote was released on 27.02.2019, the mosque was still under construction until in April 2019.
