These are the reprints of 2012 issues. Only 2 notes were reissued with slight alteration on the design by shifting the Diamond shape design on the front of the notes to the right. It has been reported that when the note is folded into half, it damaged the Diamond design in such a way that it can be peeled off easily, however I am not sure if this was the reason for the reprint or simply because of stock depletion. I am not sure if other denominations were also reprinted or perhaps they did but with no alterations. Namibia, prior to independence in 1990, this country was known as South-West Africa. Between 1961-1993, the country used the currency of South Africa Rand.
